LICENSING

Licenses are valid for one year from the date of purchase. A valid and active license key is required in order to get updates and support for purchased extensions and themes. After one year, license keys may be renewed at a discount from the purchase price of a new license.

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND AUTO-RENEWALS

Ristretto Apps plugins are sold as automatically recurring subscriptions that renew each year on the anniversary of the purchase date. This subscription will automatically renew at the end of the annual license term unless the purchaser cancels their subscription prior to the automatic renewal date. Please note the following details of Ristretto Apps plugin license subscriptions: Subscription renewals are automatically processed annually on the anniversary of your original purchase. The license renewal will continue and remain valid for each one (1) year unless the subscription is canceled prior to the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page on the Ristretto Apps website. If you choose to cancel your subscription you will no longer receive updates and support for the plugin when your license expires. The renewal price will be 20% off the full plugin price as published at the time of initial purchase, exclusive of any discounts.<br /> Grandfathered pricing: If you choose to cancel your subscription, and your renewal price is lower than the current listed price for the extension license (a "grandfathered" price), the lower renewal price will no longer be available to you. If you choose to renew your subscription after it has been canceled and your plugin license has expired, you will be charged the current listed price for the plugin license. We cannot apply older or grandfathered pricing to your new renewal purchase. We cannot grant refunds on renewal payments. We will send you an email 2 weeks prior to your renewal date, and you may use this opportunity to cancel your subscription before the renewal payment is automatically processed. If you choose to cancel your subscription your license will expire on the anniversary of the original purchase, and you will no longer receive updates and support for the Ristretto Apps plugins you have purchased.

REFUNDS

Ristretto Apps wants our customers to be completely satisfied with any product or service they buy from us, however we understand problems may arise. The following is what is required to apply for a refund. We stand behind our products and will assist you in solving any problem you may have, but we also expect you to adequately understand what you are purchasing and why before a purchase is made. If you have any questions, concerns, or problems, please reach out to us using the Pre-Sale option on our contact form.

In Which Cases Can I Ask For a Refund?

If the product fails to function properly due to a bug that we cannot support and if that bug was reported up to 30 days after the purchase, we will be happy to provide a full refund. So, in order to proceed with a request, a support ticket has to be opened already.

Can I Apply For a Refund at Any Time?

You must do so up to 30 days after the date of purchase.

Do You Offer Trials?

No, because our plugins and extensions’ code is open source. So releasing trials would subject them to unfair copying. It’s important to note that all features of all our products, are documented across product pages, user guides, video tutorials, and demos. That said, some of our products do have lite or free versions and visitors are encouraged to checkout all of our lite WordPress plugins.

Can I Apply For a Refund If I Didn’t Like The Product?

We do want our customers to be satisfied with the products they purchase. However, we must stress that critical information necessary to make purchasing decisions regarding our products is available on our website and any information not answered there may be asked using our Pre-Sales option in our contact form, which we strongly encourage before purchasing any products. We limit this option to one exchange per product purchased. Refunds are subject to technical issues only.

Can I Get a Different Product if I Don't Plan to Use the Original Product Purchased?

Yes, simply send us a message using our contact form, letting us know which product you'd like to get a license for instead of the product purchased, and we will exchange licenses for you. If the product you're interested in is a higher price than the product you originally purchased, we'll simply ask you to pay the difference.

My Plugin/Extension Is Conflicting With a Theme or Another Plugin/Extension. Can I Get a Refund?

Most likely no. We can only support eventual issues that arise among Ristretto Apps products. Since we can’t control the code from third party products, these are not covered in support tickets or this refund policy. However, please get in touch with support so our developers can assess the situation.

Can All Products Be Refunded?

Yes, all products are eligible for a refund as described above in the section titled "In Which Cases Can I Ask For a Refund."

How do I Apply for a Refund?

If your case qualifies for our refund policy as described above, deactivate all your Ristretto Apps licenses, remove all files and folders of our software products, and submit a support ticket (select Technical Support Request in the form options, not Refund Request).

General Refund Terms

SOFTWARE UPDATES

Updates are included for free for one year. If you have a valid and active license key, and your extension(s) supports it, updates will be delivered automatically from the WordPress dashboard. If your extension(s) does not support automatic upgrades, then updates can be downloaded from your account page.

SUPPORT SERVICES

Support for purchased extensions is given up to one year after the purchase date. If you wish to get support after one year and you have already cancelled your license subscription auto-renewal, you must renew your license key or purchase a new license for the extension you wish to get support for.
